Law Enforcement Supervisors have the responsibility for managing, supervising or leading others. They must respond to the challenges of dealing with the unknown in highly charged public situations and emergencies. Effective and appropriate actions are critical. When law enforcement supervisors possess core leadership skills, they are able to communicate well with employees, peers, government officials and the public. They are able to utilize important energy to deal with the public and achieve high organizational standards.
