Respect First: Workplace Harassment Prevention (Managers/Supervisors)

Overview

Managers and supervisors have a responsibility to protect employees and the organization from the consequences of workplace harassment.

Managers are often the first source of assistance for a harassed employee. This program will better prepare managers and supervisors for the tasks of preventing and resolving workplace harassment incidents.

Respect First provides clear-cut ways for dealing with or preventing a problem that is often anything but clear-cut. Participants will review situations to determine the difference between behavior that is friendly and behavior that constitutes harassment. The program will explain workplace harassment laws and policies that govern harassment in the workplace and provides a step-by-step process for resolving workplace harassment situations.
